Devorise Media & Business Solutions is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and ensure the efficient operation of computer systems, hardware, and software in our organization. You will be the first point of contact for employees experiencing IT issues and will play a critical role in maintaining our IT systems' reliability and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. - Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to user issues.

  2. - Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.

  3. - Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.

  4. - Update customer data and produce activity reports.

  5. - Walk customers through the problem-solving process.

  6. - Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.

  7. - Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.

  8. - Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure of trouble tickets.

  9. - Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.

  10. - Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services..

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.

  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.

  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.

  • Familiarity with help desk software and remote support tools.

  • BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.

  • Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide help desk support.
